Complete Asphalt Patching Services
Keep your lot safe and looking good
If your pavement is cracking, raveling, or popping potholes, timely repairs will save you money and prevent bigger headaches. Victory Paving diagnoses the cause, recommends the right fix, and gets you back to normal with clean, professional repairs that stand up to Southern California sun, traffic, and occasional heavy rains.
What’s causing the damage? (SoCal realities)
Water intrusion: Rain finds its way through open cracks and weak joints, softening the base and creating potholes.
Heat & UV: Oxidation makes asphalt brittle, which leads to block and edge cracking.
Heavy loads & turning traffic: Dumpster pads, loading zones, and drive aisles see accelerated wear.
Drainage & construction issues: Low spots, thin sections, or weak base layers telegraph into surface failures.
The right asphalt repair for the problem
We’ll walk the site with you, map defects, and explain options—plain English, clear pricing, start-to-finish plan.
1) Hot-Mix Remove & Replace (R&R)
Best for potholes, failed patches, and alligator cracking. We sawcut, excavate to firm base, compact aggregate (as needed), place hot-mix asphalt, and compact to grade. This addresses underlying failure—not just the surface.
2) Mill-and-Patch
Ideal for isolated areas where the surface layer has failed but base is stable. We mill the top course to a set depth, clean, tack, place hot-mix, and roll for a flush tie-in.
3) Skin Patch / Surface Patch (selective use)
A thin overlay to smooth raveling or shallow defects when structure is sound. Best in low-load areas and paired with crack sealing.
4) Infrared Repair (when appropriate)
Useful for tight, cosmetic-sensitive areas and small birdbaths. We blend heated existing asphalt with new mix, then compact. Not a cure-all for base failures; we’ll advise when it makes sense.
5) Crack Sealing (keep water out)
Hot-applied rubber fills working cracks to block water and slow deterioration. Pair with sealcoat for best value over time.
Our repair process (simple and painless)

Repair & compact: Clean edges, tack, place the right mix, and achieve proper density.
Return to service: Most patches reopen quickly; we’ll give you clear guidance for traffic and stripe timing.
Preventive plan: Crack sealing and periodic sealcoating to stretch pavement life.

Helpful FAQs
How do I know if I need patching or a full overlay?
If failures are isolated, patches or mill-and-patch are cost-effective. Widespread cracking/raveling often points to an overlay. We’ll show you where each option makes sense.
How long will a hot-mix patch last?
With solid base support, sealed cracks, and decent drainage, patches can last many years. Traffic load and water management are the big variables.
Can you work while my business stays open?
Yes—we phase work, post signage, and keep safe access open whenever possible. You’ll know the plan in advance.
Do you repair utility cuts?
Absolutely. We tie into existing grades, compact properly, and leave a clean, permanent finish suitable for immediate traffic.
What does asphalt repair cost?
Prices depend on size, depth, access, and traffic control. We’ll give you a line-item estimate so you can compare options.
